News from The Braag & Carmen et Error

New Newsletter, new books and more

Goodness me, folks! It’s been awhile.

You may have noticed that your regularly scheduled Carmen et Error newsletter hasn’t arrived (or perhaps you haven’t, there’s a lot to think about in life). Anyway, this is because Tinyletter shut down in November, and I’ve spent a few months trying to figure out a good replacement. We’re now on beehiiv! Which is exciting to precisely no one I’m sure.

But there’s many more updates for you!

News from The Braag

We are publishing Nina Murray’s and Sarah Westcott’s glorious pamphlets on February 26th!

They can also be pre-ordered here!

“The poems in this pamphlet create a water-human world of intersections.  Light, surface-skimming poems touch the page like mayfly touch the meniscus. To read Pond is to spend time in an alternative, delightful, curious universe.” — Jane Burn

With a startle of blood and enticing lyric, Nina Murray explores what it means to be a woman residing in history. Gannota is about language and mythmaking, the haunted and the pastoral but also, importantly, Gannota is about what women carry. A beguiling pamphlet, I read it in a gasp
